As part of Work Package 4, the Stop Bullying Project partners actively engaged in practical workshops designed to tackle real-life bullying scenarios. Using materials and tools developed throughout the project, each partner in France, Greece, Italy, and Luxembourg organized three workshops, covering a total of 12 impactful sessions. These workshops provided a space for youth workers and educators to explore effective intervention strategies, test innovative approaches, and empower young people to stand against bullying.
Our commitment to tackling bullying extends beyond awareness—it’s about equipping youth workers with the right tools to create safer environments for young people. As part of Work Package 3, partners in Luxembourg, France, Greece, and Italy have successfully delivered the course “Effective Practices and Tools to Prevent and Address Bullying in Youth Work.” The impact? Stronger youth work practices, safer spaces, and a growing network of professionals committed to ending bullying.
In France (RESOPA), trainers and teachers were empowered to address bullying in schools. Italy (Microkosmos) emphasised emotional intelligence, self-awareness, and empathy. Luxembourg (Cocoinut Luxembourg) strengthened the capacity of youth work trainers to handle bullying situations effectively. Greece (MYARTIST) focused on creative approaches to prevent bullying, using arts and expression as tools for awareness and intervention.
In collaboration with the Institute of Social Work in Clermont-Ferrand, the Stop Bullying project was showcased to an engaged audience of approximately 60 participants from Romania, France, Spain, and Latvia. The presentation successfully sparked interest and curiosity in the initiative, inspiring attendees to take action in combating bullying and amplifying the project’s mission.

In a concerted effort to tackle the pervasive issue of bullying among European youth, the Erasmus+ initiative proudly presents “Stop Bullying.” With a vision to cultivate a safer and more inclusive environment for young people, this project aims to engage youth workers in anti-bullying endeavours through innovative nonformal education methods. The ultimate goal? Empowering these dedicated individuals to spearhead educational initiatives that foster empathy, respect, and understanding among youth, particularly those facing socio-economic challenges.
The recent kick-off meeting from the 8th to the 10th of October 2023 marked the inaugural step towards realizing this ambitious vision. Bringing together esteemed partners including Coconut Luxembourg, Resopa, MYARTIST, and Miocrokosmos, the event served as a platform for collaboration, idea exchange, and strategic planning. Each partner organization brings unique expertise and perspectives, united by a shared commitment to combatting bullying and promoting youth welfare.
Central to the project’s mission is empowering youth workers, and equipping them with the tools, knowledge, and resources necessary to address bullying within their communities effectively. Through training workshops, capacity-building activities, and networking opportunities, participants will develop a comprehensive understanding of anti-bullying strategies grounded in nonformal education methodologies.
